Here are some quick thoughts about resolving relationships I wanted to share with you all..
1st Try to name the assumptions and expectations you have in this relationship , for yourself. And for the other 2d What are you committed to over the long haul with this relationship? Where is the common ground? 3d How do you feel right now about this relationship? All from I feel…not blaming… 4th What is at risk now? What is the greatest joy now? 5th How would you like to feel? How do you want to make your partner feel? 6th What are you willing to do or change to resolve current difficulties? And how will each of you know you have made those changes by when? 7th Have your expectations, assumptions and commitments of the relationship changed and if so how ? 8 What is your future vision or dream of how this relationship can be in 5 years 20 years, .or etc… 9 How have you allowed the relationship to develop and what needs to change for it to work for you now. What ground rules have changed over the years? 10 Speak from I , How I felt instead of blame.
