Brief Biography
Elizabeth originally moved to Boulder, Colorado in 1971 and graduated from the University of Colorado in 1975. She returned to Colorado (to remain) after travelling extensively throughout the world during 1983. In 1985 she married the love of her life and began raising her family, which includes three unique and delightful children.
Her passion for the stars and astrology began after the death of her brother when she was nine. She has been a professional astrologer for over 30 years. Astrological Life readings led Elizabeth into an active Life Coaching practice. She now enjoys life in her mountain home -- devoted to family, clients, writing, gardening, hiking and questioning how to awaken the unconscious into the conscious. Her international travels continue to provide her with important perspectives about being a world citizen.
Elizabeth's talents also include being a chef at two award winning Health Food Cafes in Boulder, Colorado in the 1970's. She got a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 1975, and a Masters Degree in 1981 from the Heartwood Holistic Health Institute located in Santa Cruz, California, and earned the title Holistic Health Educator.
Immediately after completing her Masters degree, Elizabeth was invited to travel extensively on a Hindi pilgrimage with Harish Johari Shyam Batnagar, in India. She continued traveling four and a half months. Elizabeth apprenticed with an Ayervedic Dr. Jah in Katmandu Nepal for a month and spent the last month in a hermitage with Swami Sham in the Himalayas. She also earned a massage licence during her many studies.
Elizabeth taught Holistic Counseling, and Jin Shin Do, a Japanese acupressure form of bodywork, at Dr. Sheer's School of Advanced Healing Arts in Sante Fe, New Mexico, before moving back to Boulder in 1983. In Boulder she had a thriving private practice until she shifted her attention to raising children.
Elizabeth has designed and helped build or remodel three of her homes and is currently dreaming up a home in Costa Rica.
In 1995, Elizabeth traveled to Russia to do a group spiritual journey visiting the cathedrals dedicated to the Divine Feminine or Sophia. Elizabeth maintained her Astrology practice through the child rearing years and began Life Coaching in February, 2005.
During 2005, Elizabeth also began writing monthly astrological contemplations for the Redstone Review, a newspaper distributed in Lyons, Colorado. Topics she has covered include in-depth analysis of the Astrological signs, the Native American Full Moons, and discussions on each of the planets.
Elizabeth's love of world travel an experiencing different cultures has added richness and perspective to her life and practice. She is very curious and has a thirst for learning that never ends. Elizabeth continues to take courses with leading edge teachers. The courses listed here are only a small sampling of her education.
